The 2021-22 Homeschool Program will explore the basic requirements of life and learn about how organisms from the smallest algae to a sea lion work in different ways to meet their needs.
The Facts of Life: Hunter or Gatherer?
Everyone needs energy to survive, but there are different methods for meeting your energy needs. Some animals develop complex tactics to hunt for their next meal, while others just sit back and soak up the sun’s rays to recharge. During this class we will investigate how animals at the aquarium fit into their food webs in the wild and how that changes when they live at an aquarium.
