With an Aquarium educator, participants will learn all about penguins — their biology, where they live, what they eat, and more.
Participants will learn what goes into taking care of our feathered friends by diagnosing real penguin problems and coming up with treatment plans. With an educator, they will learn all about penguins — their biology, where they live, what they eat, and more. The class ends with a science experiment that teaches kids about the effects of an oil spill on penguins and other seabirds.
This hands-on class comes with a special Jr. Vet: Penguin kit, which includes a penguin plush, Aquatic Vet play kit, penguin patient & treatment card, science experiment materials, and a certificate of completion. (Kit valued at $25+)
This class is for children ages 8-12.
