Get ready to lose those winter blues! Toast & Jam is a jazz-jammin’, blues-rockin’, poetry-reading coffeehouse event, back by popular demand for a 21st year.
Singer-songwriter, Dale Campbell hosts the 6 week series of open mic entertainment which is open to all singers, musicians, poets, actors, dancers, comics and performance artists.  Campbell’s calling card boasts a long history of open mics and he can be heard regularly on WJJL, “Just Me and the Dog” and “Dale Campbell – All About Town”.
Most of the people who perform at open mics are not professionals. They do it for the love of it, and part of the fun for the audience is never knowing what to expect. The relaxed atmosphere, great music and delicious Tin Pan Alley food have made Toast & Jam Lewiston’s favorite mid-winter event. It’s that rare sort of venue that engenders good vibes for both the performers and the audience.
Highlights from Toast & Jam are featured throughout the year on Lockport Community TV so performers can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a moment in the spotlight.
