This event will include brand new material on some perilous wartime incidents, not mentioned in previous performances. In 2009, Mr. McFadyen was contacted by Ken Burns, a prominent American filmmaker, and asked him to complete a voice over for the documentary, Our National Parks: America’s Best Idea. Somehow, they had lost the important audio needed for the film, and Mr. McFadyen was the just the right man for the job. He has performed at the Lancaster Opera House as FDR in the Broadway musical, Annie—which was quite successful during its reign, and has reappraised the role at various other theaters and locations throughout the years.
Mr. McFadyen’s interpretation of such a historical event is both emotional and timeless, and his embodiment of FDR is absolutely sensational. This event is free open to the public. Donations are appreciated.
