Earth Day in Action

Join us as we celebrate Earth Day 2023 with a Party for the Planet!

When: Saturday, April 22nd & Sunday, April 23rd
Activities 10am-4pm

Come explore the Aquarium and discover how you can make a difference for the planet. We will have activities throughout the building, ranging from repurposing old T-shirts into something new to learning about the impacts of humans on habitats, and even a scavenger hunt! We will be joined by Buffalo Women of Environmental Learning and Leadership (BWELL), who will be here to talk about native plants in our area and will be making recycled seed paper cards!

On Sunday morning, we will have our FREE Nature Stories trail walk, focused on Signs of Spring in the Niagara River Gorge. Please register for this walk so we know you’re coming!

Other activities include coral fragging demonstrations, digital games about threatened species and their habitats, binocular demonstrations, native plant and bird identification games, and plenty of prizes to give away!
